Khukuri Nepali Restaurant was founded with a single dream: to share the warmth, flavour, and culture of Nepal with Australia.
Named after the iconic curved blade of the Gurkha warriors — a symbol of bravery, loyalty, and pride — Khukuri embodies the spirit of Nepal's bravest people. Every dish we serve carries the story of mountain villages, ancient spice routes, and generations of culinary tradition.

The Beginning — Campsie, Sydney
Khukuri opens its first doors on Beamish Street, Campsie. A small family restaurant with big dreams — serving hand-rolled momos and Thakali sets to the local Nepali and Australian community.
2023
Expanding to Adelaide
Following years of success and a growing following, Khukuri launches its second outlet in Adelaide — bringing authentic Nepali hospitality to South Australia.
2025
Melbourne Joins the Family
Khukuri's vision grows with a third outlet in Melbourne, cementing its place as Australia's leading Nepali restaurant chain across three of the country's greatest cities.
